In a new promo which Chris Rock shared via his Twitter account, he listed three reasons to watch show, while describing it as 'the white BET award."

The comedian took to his Twitter account to share three big reasons to watch the show, he wrote alongside the video, "The #Oscars. The White BET Awards."
The 2016 nominations will mark the second year in a row in which no person of color was nominated in any of the four major acting categories.
The announcement led to an outrage on Twitter with the hashtag #OscarsSoWhite.

Rock, who hosted the awards for the 1st time in 2005, will work alongside Regina Hedlin, the event's new co-producer, who also directed the pilot of his series, 'Everybody Hates Chris.'
The 87th Oscars which was hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, took a 16% decline in the ratings.
The upcoming edition is scheduled to hold at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on February 28, 2016.
