The reality series has announced its third season and is currently in search of African ladies between the age of 18 to 35, who have a talent they want to showcase.
In 2016, when Pulse Nigeria asked the actress the inspiration behind the show, she said it was inspired by her passion to give the African woman a voice.
It's 2017 and the actress is determined to produce a better season.
In an interview with Pulse Nigeria, she spoke about the journey so far, the inspiration behind the show, the impact she hopes to make and what fans can expect from this season.
"It's been a roller coaster ride of many shades of experiences. But I'm truly loving the journey.
The truth is life is about learning through discovery and that has been my journey so far. I've discovered how to make the show better and give back more through the show.
We started the African diva tour which wasn't there in season 1 and season 2, it's an African tour focused on empowering the young African woman.
I basically motivate and inspire them, talk to women across Africa about very important issues that affect women and proffer possible solutions to those pressing issues.
Our first leg of the tour was in Morrocco where I talked about the importance of Education and we just concluded the Lagos tour where I discussed "Conquering our fears".
It's been a great learning experience so far for me too."
"The inspiration for season 3 goes beyond just the show, I wanted to give back more and plant a seed in women across different regions in Africa that will germinate and possibly, every woman in Africa will eat from its fruit.
African diva season 3 will be bigger, better and elevated. I am super excited about this one. Registrations for African diva season 3 are ongoing and the responses have been impressive."
"The show has been a great Success so far as I get emails from girls all over Africa on how the show has helped mould them in different aspects of their life.
The vision will always remain the same but we intend that the impact in season 3 will be felt more and we reach out to more women across Africa.
We are going bigger in every way and we will have more diverse cultures this season."
"The fans should expect an upgrade from the previous seasons. Entertaining and Educative tasks, Striking personalities and talent from the ladies. It's going to be elevated in every way.
They won't be able to sit still while watching. They will be in for top notch entertainment."
"African Diva Reality Show" features 22 ladies between the ages of 18 and 35 in a house for weeks as they complete various tasks and are evicted weekly.
Past winners of the reality series include Love Egbules, who won the first season, and Ebony who won the second season.
The winner of the upcoming third season will win two million naira, one-year movie contract, one-year cover feature on an international magazine and one year supply of Fancy Nancy accessories.
