The much awaited Igbo Movie "Chetanna" is set to premiere in Akwa, Anambra State.
Chigozie Atuanya is set to premiere his movie "Chetanna" in his state of origin, Anambra.
Set to be the first premiere in Akwa, the premiere will take place on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Marble Arch Hotel, by 4.pm.
Directed by Ikechukwu Onyeka, the movie features Queen Nwokoye, Ebube Nwagbo, Ebele Okaro, and Chigozie Atuanya.
"Chetanna" is the gripping tale of an American returnee whose unbridled past in America has come to haunt his present in Africa.

The Igbo language movie won the award for Best Indigenous Film at the 2014 Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards (GIAMA), which took place in Houston.
The movie also made history in 2014, when it became the first Igbo language movie to be premiered in the United States.
It was premiered on July 25 at the Igbo World Festival of Arts and Culture, which was held at the Frontier Culture Museum in Staunton, Virginia.
