Ang Lee's movie gets release date

Ang Lee's movie, Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk has gotten a release date after much talks between producers and filmmakers.

Reports from the media revealed that Ang Lee's has been slated for release on November 11, 2016.

The reports further hinted that the release date coincides with the Veterans Day celebration.

The project, which is an adaptation of Ben Fountain's novel and stars Joe Alwyn and Garrett Hedlund, has TriStar, Film4 and Studio 8 partnership.

With a screenplay written by Simon Beaufoy, the film centers around a 19-year-old private (Alwyn) who survives a battle in Iraq, which is captured by news cameras. He and his company of soldiers are brought back to the U.S. for a promotional tour culminating in a halftime show at a Thanksgiving Day football game.
