It's interesting fighting Chigul on set - Kemi Lala Akindoju

Lala also revealed that it was interesting working with the movie's writer and director, BB Shasore saying he makes working with him seamless and less stressful.

In a recent chat, the actress said though her role was a one scene appearance, she enjoyed every bit of her involvement on the production especially her fight with the lead character played by Chigul.

"For my character, I had to run it by the director and played it a certain way, it was fun and I had a good time. I don't think there is anything I would like to play differently, my character is Ijeoma's teacher when she's younger, so that is in the flashback. I actually loved it because we took it to a top notch and went physical because the character pushed me on the floor and we had a bit of fight and it was fun," she said.

On her wish to getting more roles in the movie, she said: "Truth is the way it was written, there was no other female role I could have played though I wished I could have gotten more roles especially with the action pace but hey, we made good of what we got and the film came out good."

"It's like home working with BB Shasore, it's easy working with him but easy doesn't mean he's not going to get all he wants or get it done how he wants but easy in the sense that he doesn't stress you out and he makes the work very seamless. He makes the actress comfortable with herself, act and performance," she said.

Banana Island Ghost is scheduled to hit the cinemas in August 2017 and it stars Chigul, Patrick Diabuah, Ali Nuhu, Saidi Balogun and Bimbo Manuel.
