The Stephanie Linus directorial debut leads with nine nominations. The movie is based on the challenges faced by child brides who are struggling with VVF (Vesico vaginal fistula) and stars Ferdinand Afo, Rekiya Attah and Samuel Beavis alongside others.
It has been nominated in the Best Overall Movie, Best Costume Designer, Best Makeup Artist, Best Director, Best Supporting Actress, Best Art Director, Best Cinematographer, Best Movie(West Africa) and Best Sound Editor categories.

"Ayanda: tells the story of a twenty one year old Afro hipster, who embarks on a journey of self discovery trying to keep the memory of her father alive.
The movie has been nominated in the Best Overall Movie, Best Writer, Best Makeup Artist, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Movie – Southern Africa, Best Cinematographer and Best Sound Editor categories.
