Award winning Yoruba actress, Faithia Balogun, made two surprising revelations at the 2015 AMVCA which held on Saturday, March 7, 2015.

The actress won the 'Best Indigenous Language - Yoruba'  award for her comedy movie 'Iya Alalake'.

While receiving the award, the talented revealed the following to the viewers;

  • Fathia Balogun is not Yoruba, she is Urhobo - "I'm not Yoruba" she said. "I'm Urhobo" - Iyabo added.

  • 'Iya Alalake' is her first comedy movie.
