Nollywood meets Hollywood as AFRIFF sends 15 undergraduates for training at the Mountain State University film school.

Organisers of the renowned film festival, AFRIFF, have partnered with the Ford Foundation to send 15 undergraduates for training at the Mountain State University film school.

The undergraduates include 12 Nigerians which include 2 Kenyans and 1 Ethiopian.

“This scholarship scheme is a one-month intensive hands-on training camp on various aspects of filmmaking with an emphasis on documentary film production. There will be six days each week of classes which will include an intensive field work and hands-on training.“ - Ford Foundation Programme Officer, Prof. Paul Nwulu, said.

Nollywood actors spotted include Gideon Okeke, Adesua Etomi, Linda Ejiofor, Lilian Esoro, Uti Nwachukwu, Cynthia Makulu, Uru Eke, Lala Akindoju among others.
