Game of Thrones season 7, episode 6

From Dany meeting the White Walker army to the Night King acquiring an undead dragon, the penultimate episode of the season was lit.

Pulse Movies has put together seven moments from the episode which aired on Sunday, August 20, 2017.

Check them out;

1. Thoros meets his end

We all knew one of the 'Suicide Squad' was going to die beyond the wall, we just didn't know who and how that would happen.

The unfortunate hero ends up being Thoros, the Red Priest, who had brought back Beric from the dead severally.

He was initially attacked by a White Walker Bear, but that wasn't how he met his end - he died from cold after the squad were stranded in the middle of a frozen lake.

The good news is that the team achieved their aim; they caught a wight which they would use to convince Cersei that there's a bigger battle ahead.

2. Kill the Night King; kill all White Walkers

After Jon killed the above White Walker, every other wight fighting alongside him died.

What this means is that when a White Walker dies, all others that were turned by him follows suit. So, the battle is actually between the Night King and humans, because if he dies, the entire army of the dead dies too.

3. RIP Viserion

The captured living wight alerted the others and just like that, it became the 'Suicide Squad' vs the whole army of the dead.

Jon Snow immediately asked Gendry to run back to Eastwatch and send a raven to Dragonstone.

Against Tyrion's advise, Daenerys decided to save the day, flying her dragons to Beyond the Wall to save her friends.

Unfortunately, she returned with just two dragons as the Night King shot down Viserion with a magical arrow.

4. Uncle Benjen to the rescue

Dany saved the day, but couldn't save Jon, who was still fighting the White Walkers. He asked Dany to leave after the Night King shot down her dragon and was aiming for another one.

Left alone and struggling to survive, Jon is saved by someone on a horse - it's Uncle Benjen; his Zombie uncle.

Benjen gives Jon his horse, and sacrifices himself as the wights pounce on him.

We last saw Benjen in the Season 6 finale, escorting Bran and Meera to the Wall.

Uncle Benjen is Ned’s Zombie brother. He was left for dead by White Walkers and restored by forest children with a dragon glass pacemaker.

Is Uncle Benjen dead? Considering that he wasn't ever alive, can the White Walkers end his watch? Maybe they can by removing the dragonglass from his chest.

5. Jon Snow bends the knee

An injured Jon wakes up to find Daenerys by his side. He apologizes for the death of her dragon.

"We shouldn't have gone," he says to Dany, who replies, "You have to see it to know, now I know."

Dany assures Jon Snow that together they would destroy the Night King.

They also share a very intense moment after Jon calls her "Dany." He further says he is ready to bend the knee and calls her "My Queen."

Daenerys gets emotional. She clasps his hands and asks how his people would feel about her decision.

"They would come to see you for who you are," Jon replies. “I hope I deserve it”, she responds.

Jon's decision to bend the knee was influenced by Dany's rescue move and his conversation with Tormund, who advised him to set his pride aside and bend his knee.

In a previous scene, Tyrion had told Dany that Jon starred longingly at her because he has feelings for her.

So, yes, you're probably getting a Dany-Jon sex this season.

6. Littlefinger seems to be winning

The letter Littlefinger left for Arya to find last week seems to have its effect. The Stark girls, who have never been fond of each other, are further divided against each other.

Sansa broke into Arya's room and found Arya's bag of faces. The latter threatened to add her face to those. She teased her about how she would feel wearing her face and royal garments.

7. The Night King has a dragon now

In one of the OMG moments of the show yet, a dead Viserion's eyes opened to reveal a blue colour.

So, yes, the Night King just got more powerful with an undead dragon that could probably breath blue flame.
