You are bound to always meet these people in the cinema, and they will always ruin the experience for you.

Going to the cinema can be exciting, but it can also be one of the most annoying experiences ever.

While some Nigerians have figured out that the best time to see a movie is 8 AM on Saturdays and Sundays, some of us still stroll into the cinemas at any other time, and constantly get to encounter some annoying people.

Pulse Movies has put together seven types of annoying people you will meet at the cinema.

1. The Phone center

These ones wander into the cinema with their phone on the ring out mode. And when it rings, they always pick up, disrupting a quiet hall.

There are also those who assume that since their phones are on silent, they can distract their neighbours by browsing the internet, reading their messages or watching a video.

2. The happy or troubled couple

There’s always that couple in the cinema hall that think they are actually invisible and people can’t see them groping and making out.

Nobody actually wants to see you guys make up or make out.

3. The chatterbox/ Spoiler Kings

These ones are your biggest nightmare and can be detected the moment they walk into the hall. They are rarely alone, and the cinema seems like the best place for them to 'catch up.' They talk about anything but the movie.

The spoiler kings are those ones who return for a replay of a movie and ruin it for others with comments such as: "Just keep watching, the girl will kill the boy" - what are we still watching?

4. The emotional ones

These are those annoying ones who find everything funny. Toyin Aimakhu waking up in the morning is funny to them.

They leave you wondering if you are all seeing the same movie. The other people in this category can’t see a movie without being dramatic.

They are so absorbed with the story that they react physically by jumping, gasping, "awwing," and "Ahhing" up and down.

5. The Waka Waka

What is worse than getting comfortable in your seat and having someone say "excuse me, I want to pass?"

Some others arrive late, and will just be walking up and down in search of a seat, which they probably never find, because, they are late.

Let's not even forget those who sit at the end of a row, and disrupt the whole hall because they want to go to the bathroom.

6. Excited group of teenagers

If for any reason, you find yourself in a cinema hall with a group of hyperactive teenagers, who are probably on a 'date,' consider your cinema experience for that day ruined.

From chattering to emotional responses, these excited teenagers are everything we already mentioned on the list.

7. Crying baby

We love babies... But it's still difficult to understand why parents bring their babies, who are, as expected, restless, to watch a movie with the public.

And to think their parents always say: "he doesn't cry a lot."
