Rapper gifts N3Million to man who helped his career

The video showed the rapper counting several dollar bills before handing it to his Samaritan friend.

The 27-year-old rapper took to Instagram on March 19, 2017, recounting how he was helped by a certain man 8 years ago when he was still an upcoming with no money in his pocket.

According to Yung6ix, real name Onome Onokohwomo, he was still trying to kick-start his music career then when the man identified only by his IG handle @iamblackking gave him N10,000 to chase his dreams as an artiste.

Now that he is successful, he has decided to appreciate him by giving him $10,000.

The video showed the rapper counting several dollar bills before handing it to his Samaritan friend, who excitedly hugged him.

"8 years ago @imblackking gave me 10,000 Naira to come to Lagos to chase my dream as an artiste, without that 10k there would be no Yung6ix today. Showed him I'm grateful by giving him 10,000 dollars today. Strictly for motivational purposes only. Don't just be great be grateful and don't forget those who helped you when you where nothing," he wrote alongside the video.

The man also shared the wad of money on his page and gave Yung6ix a shout out.
