Basketball legend LeBron James has been named the World's Fittest Athlete 2014 by Sports Illustrated's first ever of the List of Top 50 Fittest Male Athletes.

Sports Illustrated says the former Miami Heat star scored 40/40 on all four categories to win the award

According to the sports bible, LeBron scored the ten mark score in each of the four categories which included: Speed, Strength, Agility and Endurance.
"For the professional male athlete it is the very foundation of success. But even among the pros, some athletes stand head and sculpted shoulders above the rest," states Sports Illustrated.
Trailing LeBron in second place is Real Madrid and Portuguese football player, Cristiano Ronaldo with 38.5 points scoring 10/10 in the speed, agility and endurance categories. Olympic champion and Jamaican born Usain Bolt stepped in third with 36.5 point scoring 10/10 in the speed category.
Boxing champ, Floyd Mayweahther came in fourth place while Dez Bryant landed the fifth spot. Singer Kerry Hilson's basketball boyfriend, Serge Ibaka got in the 7th place after football star Calvin Johnson.
Adrian Peterson, Jon Jones and Swimmer Michael Phelps occupied the 8,9 and 10 places respectively.
The magazine has already made plans for a Fittest 50 female athletes list yet to be released.
