US Weekly reports the property owner's lawyer Boris Treyzon revealed the case has been settled and Tyga finally paid his debts!
“The case got settled. Tyga paid,” Treyzon told US Weekly. “It’s been executed and everything has been performed. We expect things to get back to the way they were. We will inform the court that the settlement has been reached and that all parties are satisfied.”
This comes after a judge issued a warrant for his arrest on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, after he failed to show up to court for a deposition.
The 'Molly' rapper owed his landlord around $480,000 because he fell behind in rent on his former Malibu house.
According to court documents obtained by E! News, Tyga abandoned the house 'sometime prior' to October 31, 2012. But after moving out the landlord discovered that he had inflicted major damages on the home, including tearing off the automatic gate opener and damaging bathroom tiles.
The cost of the damages is about $480,285, which Tyga hasn't paid till now.
Earlier this year rumour had it that Tyga owed his girlfriend $2 million because he had been using her cash to fund his personal expenses, but the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star immediately put rumours to rest.
"Lies lies lies," she tweeted at the time and Tyga never publicly addressed the hearsay.
