Singer Responds To Toolz' Blonde Hair Mockery

The 'My Car' hit-maker made it clear that his signature blonde hair has nothing to do with what he can deliver when elected.

On September 24, famous Beat 99.9 FM's OAP Toolz couldn't help but laugh out loud on Tiwtter when she first caught sight of ace musician Tony Tetuila's blonde hair on his political campaign poster. Now, the singer is hitting back at his critics.

The famous radio girl posted on Twitter: "Tony Tetuila's hair is still blonde in his campaign pictures... lol".

In a recent interview with Nigerian Tribune, the 'My Car' hit-maker made it clear that his signature blonde hair has nothing to do with what he can deliver when elected but if 'his people' do not like the hair, he will take it down.

"I am not going to the office to sing, though I am an artiste. I am going to serve my people. I am not going into the office with tinted hair. I was discussing with some youth leaders who said I could leave th ehair. But now that people are speaking on it, I have to do what my people want.  I only used the to campaign because everybody knows Tony Tetuila with that trademark."

Moreover, in responds to critics who accused him of going into politics for the money,Tony said:

"How can I be broke, I am not broke. Everybody knows where I am coming from. I am not going into politics for the fun of it. We artistes always sing about poverty but rarely do anything about it. If you know songs like 'Prayer For Naija' and 'E Go Better', you will see that we always complain but we don't do anything about the suffering. We want Nigerians to live a better life. What I am going to deliver matters and not the hair".
