Remember Tom Cruise glamorously holding the hand of his mother Mary Lee Mapother, as they walked down the red carpet together at the 2009 Golden Globe awards?

Well. things have really changed, the loving relationship between mother and son seems to have faded away in recent time.

According to The National Enquirer, Cruise, has abandon his wheelchair-bound mother Mary Lee Mapother, for a while.

“It’s stunning that someone who had been so close to his mother growing up could not be there for her when she’s doing so poorly, especially on Mother’s Day,”.

 

79-year-old Mapother, was spotted been helped into a wheelchair, with breathing tubes in her nose, as she aboard a $400,000 luxury fishing boat.

Although, she was surrounded by her two nurses and her other children Marian Henry, her son, Cal and his wife, Marjorye, her superstar son Tom Cruise was nowhere to be found.

Tom, has distanced himself from everyone lately, first his daughter Suri, sometime last year, followed by his step-dad on his deathbed,  he even skipped his funeral, now his precious mother!

Meanwhile, in September last year, there were speculation that the actor’s mother may have secretly passed away, blaming her sudden disappearance on the actor's mysterious church, Scientology!
