Singer calls Eedris Abdulkareem a "dirty Igbo smoker"

Timaya hits back at Eedris Abdulkareem and brands him as a "dirty Igbo smoker".

A visibly angry Timaya on Friday, September 29, 2017, took to his Instagram page to post a video to counter the statement made over a week ago by Eedris Abdulkareem who berated some Nigerian artists.

He wrote on the video caption,

"I tried so hard to resist responding to an EMPTY BARREL...But i am sick and tired of all this misconceptions...Sometimes you just need to tell people the HARD TRUTH. FUCK U EEDRIS ABDÜLKARİM."

In the video, Timaya accused Eedris Abdulkareem of not recognizing him when he was his backup, artist. He talked about how he used his own money to pay for his transportation to perform with him back in the days. He also reminded Eedris Abdulkareem that 2Face is still doing it big, hence he should go and work and stop blaming people.

Timaya was quick to remind him how he helped musicians like Patoranking, Runtown, Skales become popular but questioned the "Mr. Lecturer" singer about how many musicians he helped back in the days.

Looks like Timaya wasn't having any more of Eedris' rants, as he insulted him and at the end of the video called him a "dirty Igbo smoker"

While granting an interview with Goldmyne TV, on September 2017, Eedris Abdulkareem lashed out at some musiciansincluding Dbanj, 2Face, Davido and Timaya who he called an ingrate for not going back to their roots.
