Kanye West, Kim Kardashian should get off Taylor Swift’s case

“She totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn't. I swear, my husband gets so much shit for things [when] he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved” Kim Kardashian told GQ in defence of her husband.

Taylor Swift’s rep quickly addressed the issue by telling GQ “Taylor does not hold anything against Kim Kardashian as she recognizes the pressure Kim must be under and that she is only repeating what she has been told by Kanye West. However, that does not change the fact that much of what Kim is saying is incorrect.”

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian should leave this Taylor Swift bashing alone. It’s tired. I don’t get why they are talking about months after the incident. “Taylor cannot understand why Kanye West, and now Kim Kardashian, will not just leave her alone” the rep further told GQ.

It seems the West-Kardashians have an obsession with the pop singer. Kanye West will always be attached to Taylor Swift after he stole her moment at the 2009 MTV Music Video Awards. Since then they have patched things up but Kanye is always quick to drop her name in interviews.

Kanye’s obsession with Swift has to be a marketing gimmick. His Taylor Swift line added a bit of controversy and hype to his latest album ‘’. He uses her name to get buzz for any project he is listening to.

Kim and Kanye should move past Taylor Swift. She has better things to do than to focus on the rants and quips of an egomaniac who is obsessed with her. Swift’s career should be defined by Kanye West’s madness. I think the pop singer should get as far as possible from Kim and Kanye.

We all know that most people that get attached to the Kardashian brand end up getting burnt, Tyga, Lamar Odom are just recent examples. Taylor Swift is one of the biggest music acts in the world right now, she does not need the sleaziness of a reality couple on her brand.
