Instagram user calls singer's son "ugly"

According to an Instagram user, Solange Knowles' only child, Julez, is ugly. The social media user's shots came after the singer posted a snapshot of the youngster dressed in a red tracksuit and black hat, with headphones around his neck on her Instagram.

"Young cool J too cool for ghost and goblins," Solange captioned.

Few minutes after her post, a mystery woman wrote in response: "So cute but at the same time he ugly."

The 29-year-old singer later replied the woman: "Jussst as I thought it was safe to share pictures again, a young’n like you decides to use her time to spread ugliness. I don’t fault you, I can only imagine why you would feel the need to say such things, but thanks again for being a reminder that out of all the love and wonderful energy shared, that when I open up a space for an innocent beautiful being like my boy to be criticized and judged, that I WILL most likely respond, and that he receives enough love and celebration at home that it’s just not worth it to go down this road."

The younger sister of Beyoncé added: "I hope that this really resonates with you and you make better decisions in the future towards how you use your words towards innocent children. And @ro.rxd get ya friend because this could have truly gone south if I was in the wrong mood."

Several commenters stood up for Solange and Julez, and the singer replied to one of the people who came to the young boy’s defense. "I actually respond to folks allll the time, Whether it be good or bad, but this is beautifully written though. But your [sic] right. That's not really worth people sharing…" she wrote.

On Monday, November 2, Solange posted videos of Julez dancing around with his friends in their Louisiana home, and told fans that she ‘never’ wants to leave. The star married Julez’s father Daniel Smith in February 2004 when she was just 17 years old, and welcomed their son eight months later. The couple divorces in October 2007 and she later married music video director Alan Ferguson in 2014.
