In the caption of the video the 20-year-old beauty wrote "We may not be together but I'll always have love and support for Davido no matter what. There's no need to lie or hide anything, he has an amazing heart and was my friend before anything and we'll remain that way."

Davido and Sira Kante stopped dating in 2015 sometime around the birth of his daughter Imade Adeleke. The pair briefly reunited at the exclusive party held to celebrate Davido’s new deal with Sony Music in Lagos Lounge, Brooklyn, New York in January 2016.

On June 23, 2016 it was announced that Davido had signed a deal with RCA Records. The DMW CEO had earlier this year signed a much publicized deal with Sony Music Entertainment, with the goal to release his sophomore album.

It is home to a number of top stars, including ASAP Ferg, ASAP Rocky, Alicia Keys, Aretha Franklin, Zayn Malik, Usher, T-Pain, Shakira, Justin Timberlake, Pink and many others. The label also signed another Nigerian, Ayo Jay this year.
