The 57-year-actress, who plunged into international fame 23 years ago thanks to her seductive role in 'Basic Instinct', believes her bad luck with love emerged from her sex symbol reputation.
In an interview with Daily Mirror, the striking star said, ''I wish more guys would throw themselves at me... People bought into the story that I'm a sex symbol but I'm not really. People are afraid of me.''
She also reveals that the only men in her life these days are her three adopted sons, Roan, 15, Laird, 10, and Quinn, nine, who are growing up to be thoughtful and respectful young men.

Sharon was last linked to actor and producer David DeLuise. She was however married twice; she parted ways with her first husband Michael Greenburg in 1987, and divorced second spouse Phil Bronstein in 2004.
