Shakira blasts Donald Trump on Twitter.

The Colombian singer took to Twitter on June 30 to shame the popular business tycoon for making ignorant comments about Mexican immigrants in America.

''This is a hateful and racist speech that attempts to divide a country that for years has promoted diversity and democracy! No one living in this century should stand behind so much ignorance,'' the 'Lips don’t lie' singer tweeted. Adding, ''You're fired!''... a popular slang Trump uses on his famous TV show, 'The Apprentice'.

Trump's campaign launch for the Republican presidential nomination on June 16 got off to a very rocky start when he made some crude remarks about Mexican immigrants, characterizing them all as drug dealers and rapists.

The 38-year-old singer has become the latest celebrity to slam Trump including Becky G, Ricky MartinRoselyn Sanchez, Wyclef Jean, Pitbull and many more.

Spanish language broadcaster Univision dropped his Miss America beauty pageant and then, NBC followed suit by dropping not only Miss America, but Celebrity Apprentice as well. Macy’s also announced that they will no longer carry his clothing line in their stores, although, Trump claims that he dumped them first. Trump’s presidential run is costing him a lot more than even he anticipated.

Meanwhile, Trump has filed a $500m lawsuit against Univision for breach of contract and is reportedly threatening to take legal actions against NBC.

Donald Trump is yet to apologize for his racist comments.
