Jackson took to Twitter on Sunday night to degrade Stallone's tearfully heartfelt speech. Apparently, the 67-year-old 'Django' star felt Sly's director, Ryan Coogler and/or co-star Michael B. Jordan should have been acknowledged. Instead, the 'Rambo' star thanked his wife, Jennifer Flavin, daughters, Sistine, Sophia and Scarlet and his imaginary friend (and legendary character, Rocky Balboa for his huge win.

However, Samuel’s tweet sparked some angry response from Sly fans, who were quick to defend the 'Creed' actor by declaring that he did in fact thank the filmmakers and his costars, but the cameras just didn’t catch it because it was after he had wrapped his initial speech. Because of the backlash, Sam made sure to recognize that he understands how Sylvester forgot to name everyone amidst the shock of his win.
