Singer and boyfriend call it quits

The couple were together last month in Australia for a vacation and now, they couldn't stay with each other any more

Sam Smith and boyfriend, Jonathan Zeizel have reportedly split few weeks after they went public with their relationship.

The 22-year-old singer clued his fans about the breakup during a concert in Toronto, Canada on January 20 before thrilling them with his hit, "Like I Can".

"This is about a very similar thing I had to do today with someone I've been seeing," he told the crowd.

The 'Stay With Me' crooner later shared a sad-face selfie after opening up about his relationship issues during the show.

He captioned: 'Sometimes you just need to lay in bed with a glass of red wine and a football T shirt and listen to Joni Mitchell. It's been a sad day. Beautiful show, but sad day x.'

He also shared his feeling on Twitter writing: 'You live and you learn. Wise words from @JessieWare tonight x.'

Sorry Smith guess Jonathan couldn't 'stay with you' after all.
