The Who, once dubbed the loudest band in the world, were forced to stop their performance at Long Island on Wednesday night (May 20) because a fan was smoking weed in the crowd.

Reports claim the band's front man, Roger Daltrey also a Hall of Fame receiver, stopped singing three songs in order to lecture the fan whose weed smoke was reportedly affecting his voice.

Daltrey's had multiple procedures on his throat and the tour was even postponed when he got a throat infection last December.

Eye witnesses say one of his band mates, Pete Townshend joined him as they both screamed at the weed smoker. ''Eat it up your f**king a**'', Pete yelled from the stage.
Other fans reportedly found their reaction accurate since there was a huge anti-smoking announcement before the concert kicked off. Guess the weed head didn't get the memo!
