Freeze it is time to keep quiet

Cool FM OAP Freeze has milked the Tiwa Savage/Tee Billz marriage drama for all its worth. Now it is time he leaves it alone.

Daddy Freeze.

“Dear Tiwa, I have nothing but love for you, but after I watched all 45 mins of your interview.... ..Tiwa, I know it hurts when a relationship breaks down, and those accusations T Billz made were extremely hurtful, nonetheless, I believe you could have employed caution when responding, since according to you, he was unstable and suicidal” wrote Freeze.

He further wrote “However, do you realize that the interview you gave could lead to the end of TJ's world? Who is now going to hire, work with, or have any business dealings with an unstable, adulterous, fraudulent, cocaine sniffer who cannot manage money and has his priorities misplaced? Whether you like it or not, that is what the interview has delineated him to be. In furtherance to this, if he was suicidal before, this interview is only going to make him even more suicidal!”

It feels weird for Freeze to have picked on Tiwa Savage during this emotional period especially when it’s clear that majority of the blame belongs to Tee Billz. For me Freeze hit at her so as to get some cool points online. Unfortunately he did not stop there.

Freeze later called Tiwa Savage and he was impressed by her because she was polite and showed him respect. “She was so polite, a well brought up Yoruba lady who was visibly hurt, but not for once was she rude to me. Our conversation was mostly in Yoruba and I couldn't help but notice that despite the fact that she wasn't happy with my previous post, she still addressed me with the 'e' the Yoruba tribe employ, when speaking to older people. Her tone was calm and she passed her message across to me with the utmost courtesy, showcasing her pristine upbringing.”

Sigh...so Freeze is more concerned with how Tiwa Savage responded to him than her actual well being. So would Freeze written a nasty piece about the singer if she did not use ‘e’ for him? The veteran OAP is just playing to the gallery and trying to be a part of the narrative. Unfortunately the narrative is none of his business.

Moving on, Freeze wasn’t done, he still had another thing to say about the issue at hand. In the last trilogy of his Tee Billz and Tiwa Savage involvement he said a lawyer who is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria told him that he wanted to file a lawsuit against Tiwa Savage for her character assassination of Tee Billz. Thankfully, the SAN withdrew his threat after Freeze pleaded on the singer’s behalf. Oh please! Freeze is doing this for publicity. He isn’t concerned about Tee Billz and Tiwa Savage.

I find it really ironic that a man who insulted his former wife on social media, called her an adulteress and revealed other intimate details about his marriage is now advising a couple on how to behave. It is both ironic and funny.

Freeze is a social critic but I doubt the motive behind his statements. I think he is in a popularity mission instead of helping the Nigerian society advance. Yes he has made some insightful comments on societal issues but on this particular topic he needs to keep quiet. He is unashamedly using a couple's misfortune for online gain.
