Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon are finally divorced but that didn't go down without someone making a fortune from it.

Reports say the former 'Baywatch' star was paid up to $1 million by Rick in return for the divorce. While Rick found the happiness he so desired.

Rick also gets to stay in Nevada forever. Pamela was challenging his Nevada residency claiming he was a California resident who was trying to escape from taxes on a $40 million poker win.

According to TMZ, Nevada doesn't have state taxes so Rick goes Scot-free and Pam has stopped contesting his residency since they are now divorced.

We earlier reported that Pamela filed for a divorce and later kicked out Rick and his two daughters out of her Malibu home in February.

She however reportedly held his dog, Bumblebee hostage for a week before ranting about bad sex being the major reason she's leaving him.

In a joint statement from Pam and Rick ... ''Public divorces can be harsh and cruel - we apologize to our families and friends for any hurt and embarrassment we have caused-we have come to an amicable agreement and are moving on. There are private and personal family sensitivities to consider and we retract any hurtful comments made in haste and distaste. We wish each other and our families well.''
