Oritsefemi's wife, Nabila is reported to be a PR expert. It would be recalled that Oritsefemi went to London in May 2017, to reunite with his wife who had been away from the country since their wedding, back in Nigeria.

However, Oritsefemi hasn't been devoid of controversy himself, back in November 2016 there was a report of an assault by bouncers at Quilox Nite Club in Victoria Island, Lagos on him.

The incident reportedly occurred as a result of an altercation between Oritsefemi and the bouncers.

According to reports, the artist was hanging out at the VIP section of the club when he noticed one of the club security personnel trying to restrict the duo of Sound Sultan and Rocksteady from joining the VIP.

He reportedly made attempts to intercede for the stars explaining to the club official that the pair, being A-list artistes should be allowed to enter. His request was however denied as the security officers insisted that they won't be allowed in based on an instruction from the management.

He was advised to join the regular section since he was keen on hanging out with his colleagues. In his attempt to do this, the club bouncer allegedly pushed him back and was soon rough handled by another club official who joined in the fracas.

Oritsefemi, who was holding a glass of wine at the time reportedly slapped one of the bouncers with it in defense. This left a scar on his face, forming the genesis of a full-scale violence at the nightclub.
