One Direction are reportedly going on ‘extended hiatus’ next year, according to reports.

One Direction have apparently agreed to take some time out from the group in March to do their thing individually.

Not only that, but there won’t even be a tour to promote their new LP. But according to a source it is not a permanent split.

A source said:

"The guys have been together for five years, which is an incredible run for any boyband.

They fully deserve to have at least a year to work on their own projects. There is absolutely no bad blood between them and they are all 100 per cent behind the decision."

However The Sun’s source stressed that this is not a permanent split and the boys want to regroup in the future – so don’t go smashing up your bottles of Between us just yet.
