Basketmouth, Daddy Showkey, Ill Bliss, others remember late singer

Today, March 21, 2017, marks a year since the passing of singer and songwriter Nomoreloss (real names Olumuyiwa Osinuga).

The singer who died after a short battle with Typhoid was remembered by his colleagues such as: Basketmouth, Daddy Showkey, Ill Bliss, Nikki Laoye, Yaw, and others who trooped to social media to pay him tribute with touching words.

Comedian Basketmouth and one of his best pals shared this photo of him writing, "You will be remembered forever, bro. Continue to Rest In Peace."

Nikki Laoye also remembered her 'big brother',

"1 year already... I remember you today, bros mi as always...

Big brothers like you are very rare and I thank God for all you were to me from day 1 when I started my musical career as Nikki Laoye in 2006, you were always right there to advise, bug me, and encourage me all the way, all through the years.

Losing you hurt real bad.. It still does but I know you are in a better place where there's no more pain or sorrow. I just miss you sha.

So many memories and I keep them all close in my Heart.

Your infectious smile in your pics always bring a smile to mine.

You were a blessing indeed.

Keep resting in the bosom of our God... I Celebrate your Life, I Celebrate YOU."

Rapper Ill Bliss also had a few words for his homie, "How Time Flies... exactly a year today since we lost you homie. I know you are in Heaven smiling down. May your soul keep resting in Eternal Peace. #Nomoreloss #Muyiwa."

Nomoreloss got married to Rhythm 93.7 FM OAP Phoenix (Adeola Osinuga) in 2008. They had their daughter on Saturday, January 15, 2011.

Even though there were rumours that Nomoreloss and Phoenix had separated, the late singer denied this claim in a 2014 interview with Encomium Magazine.
