Ne-Yo is heading to the altar very soon but before that he had to go down on one knee to ask his girlfriend to marry him.

In a recently released video, the 'So Sick' singer is seen kneeling down in front of his fiance, Crystal Renay, proposing that she becomes part of his life forever.

The singer went all simple wearing just a white singlet and a pair of jeans as she knelt before his bride-to-be who seem not to have any idea about what was going on. After chatting with her for nearly a minute, Ne-Yo is seen presenting a diamond ring to Renay who is seen expressing shock.

Those in the background could be overheard screaming in disbelieve as the couple enjoy their moment.

On Monday, August 31, the Grammy nominee confirmed he is engaged and he and his new fiancée are expecting a baby on his Twitter page.

The R&B singer is already the father of two other children—a daughter, Madilyn, 4, and a son, Mason, 3 — from his previous relationship with ex-fiancée Monyetta Shaw.

Ne-Yo also took to Twitter on Monday to set the record straight following an appearance Shaw made on VH1's Hollywood Exes, in which she revealed that she had her tubes tied when they were together so that they wouldn’t have any more children.
