Kanye West recieving his Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award

Kanye West received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards, but that's not the best part.

He closed his acceptance speech saying he'll run for the 2020 presidency! Really!

It started out with Kanye West receiving the Moonman from the colleague you'd least expect; Taylor Swift, the pop queen and biggest winner of the night.

A narrated montage followed with clips from important moments in Kanye's career.

Swift then talked about how much influence on her career.

Kanye then took the mic for his acceptance speech, talking about everything from fatherhood, to having to smoke a little before coming on stage.

Then he rounded off his speech with his declaration, "And yes, as you probably could have guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president".

You never know, in five years, Kanye West might be the occupant of the White House, with Kim Kardashian as First Lady, and North West, and possibly her baby brother, as the first family.

This begs the question; can on man, Kanye West, have all that power? We wait.
