Morgan Freeman is calling for the legalization of marijuana and says he's ready to 'smoke it, drink it and snort it'.

The Hollywood's favorite narrator opened up about being an advocate for legalizing marijuana last week, claiming that 'pot is very useful'.

The 77-year-old who was introduced to cannabis by his first wife, 'many years ago,' has been an ardent user since then.

Speaking with Daily Beast, Freeman says, ''I'll eat it, drink it, smoke it, snort it! This movement is really a long time coming, and it's getting legs -longer legs.''

According to the site, the Oscar-winning film legend was in a car accident in Mississipi, seven years ago, in which he suffered a shattered left shoulder, arm and elbow, and nerves had to be repaired with a four-hour surgery. The pains still exist till date.

Pointing to that incident, Freeman told the site that, ''Marijuana has many useful uses. I have fibromyalgia pain in this arm, and the only thing that offers any relief is marijuana. They're talking about kids who have grand mal seizures, and they've discovered that marijuana eases that down to where these children can have a life. That right there, to me, says, "Legalize it across the board!"
