He took to Instagram on May 19, 2017, writing,

"Throwback Pix: (11years ago(2006) on the Street of London). We travelled to several places handheld with @opeyemi_aiyeola, I won't forget those pieces of advice you shared as a sister that day. It still helps.

MOJ you have been a good sister to me. You entrusted some vital aspect of your life to me. You made ur spouse den know our bond is unbreakable.

MOJ, you linked and ignited my closeness with Foluke Daramola @folukedaramolasalako , Lola Alao @lola_alao, Ayo Badmus and myself out of your desire for them to be happy.

MOJ you appeared in my movie ONA ABAYO in 2012. MOJ dodged collecting a dime from me. When I insisted, she said "I won't forgive myself if I collect money from you. You have been there for me so many times Yomi. You are my blood ever since and I want you to grow. Use the money for other things"

I can also recollect vividly in 2015 when @bimbooshin told me how you defended me tenaciously and explained my personality for some colleagues who don't really understand me. That is what friends and those who loves you do.

When the ships was down for me, you stood by me and fought by side with SAVE NIGERIA MOVIE INDUSTRY CAMPAIGN. I will never forget you.

Moji Olaiya, you deserve a befitting burial and you deserve from us all to give you our last respect.

Aunty Moji, you are a core thespian, a talented actress and a down to heart personality. I will painfully miss you.

REST IN PEACE."

Moji is survived by two daughters, Adunola who is currently mourning the loss of her mom and her two-month-old baby who is in the care of her friend in Canada.

May her soul continue to rest in peace.
