Singer falls flat on stage

Meghan Trainor wore a tight sparkly dress and sky-high heels for her performance on 'The Tonight Show' but her heels eventually led her to lose her footing and fall.

Trainor gave the audience an energetic rendition of her new single, 'Me too' but unfortunately, the 22-year-old concluded the show completely on her back-on-the-ground.

Trainor was wearing a tight sparkly dress and sky-high heels, which eventually led her to lose her footing and fall.

The 'No' songstress tried to steady herself by grabbing onto the microphone stand, but ultimately it wasn't enough and she fell to the ground, landing flat on her back. However, host Jimmy Fallon quickly ran to her aid and later turned her fall into a joke by joining her on the floor.

"Of every single dance move, grabbing the mic is the toughest," Fallon joked. "Standing ovation for Meghan Trainor, everybody!"

The singer is yet to react to the fall but looks like her ankle is doing just fine. Watch video below:
