Award winning singer, Mariah Carey has allegedly settled the lawsuit filed against her by a former nanny, Simonette DaCosta.

Multiple reports claimed that DaCosta was settled by the singer without attracting media attention after the former nanny claimed the diva and her ex-hubby, Nick Cannon treated her like a slave and forced her to work over 100 hours each week without overtime.

Aside working over 100 hours, DaCosta claimed in the lawsuit filed in a Manhattan law court that she was paid $3,000 to $3,600 twice-monthly from October 2013 through late January 2014 before her appointment termination for being “too affectionate” with the singer's twins.

Reports further claimed that court records showed that the suit has been settled though the amount and terms of the settlement were undisclosed.
