A video appearing to be the isolated vocals from Carey's NBC performance Wednesday night in New York shows the singer was practically struggling to hit her usual high notes while gasping for breath on each line.TMZ reports that the video was posted on a site called The Concourse and it seemed authentic and matched the version that aired on television with full accompaniment.During the performance, Mariah - who arrived 3hours late - seemed fine while singing, "All I Want for Christmas is You" ... but she sounded desperate for her upper octave range and was struggling for air – something she is NEVER known to do!
