This replacement is taking place shortly after Alicia Quarles left E! Television.
'As an established entertainment and news journalist with strong Hollywood connections, has proven herself to be a great fit with the E! News team,' E! said in a statement unveiling the new appointment.

Giuliana revealed earlier in July that she would be stepping down from her post on August 10 to focus on her blossoming side ventures.
