Basketmouth who was born Bright Okpocha is Nigeria's biggest comedian right now having performed in South Africa, UK and the United States of America.

This year has been fantastic for the former rapper. July 17 was declared Basketmouth Day in the City of Houston for his commitment on bringing the Houston community together through comedy. The comedian who is back as the host of the Big Friday show will feature in a documentary about Nigerians on Al Jazeera.

The documentary series will air on will air on August 24, and feature Nigerian celebrities such as Kate Henshaw and Deola Sagoe, and also feature everyday Nigerians.

Basketmouth has just rounded up a tour of New York, Atlanta, Houston, Boston, Washington DC, Winnipeg, Calgary,Edmonton, Montreal and Toronto. He is presently on vacation with his family in the United States of America.
