- Timi Dakolo is one of the best vocalists in Nigeria. His soulful voice goes straight to the heart and highlights his undeniable talent. Timi is one of the few exportable acts we have in Nigeria. Far from common, his voice is his calling card, strong, rich and soulful.
- Timi who hails from Calabar has not changed his genre of music to pop like many of his contemporaries have done within the last few years. He is still string and bold enough to release soul songs despite the current trends in the musical scene.
- He is also a good dresser. You can't catch him at an event or gathering looking sloppy. He is always dressed for the occassion. He exudes the confidence and character of a classy gentleman. He sustains for flashy fashion for quiet and tasteful style of dressing.
- Many male celebs hide their wives choosing to portray themselves as unattached men but Timi Dakolo uses every chance to gush about his wife who has given him two lovely kids. Why wouldn't he? She is very beautiful and Timi is quick to let us know that.
- Timi Dakolo is bold to and not scared to express his opinion even though unpopular. During the presidential elections, he was one of the few celebs who boldly proclaimed they were supporting the People Democratic Party. It would have been easier for him to stay quiet, but he was man enough to speak his mind.
