Calvin Klein says her Oscar dress could be fake

Lupita's dress is getting more attention than her 2014 Oscar win because Calvin Klein is not saying if the 6,000 pearls on that dress was real or fake.

After a thief called gossip site TMZ on February 27 to inform them that Lupita Nyong'O's amazing Calvin Klein Oscar gown has been returned and the pearls were fake, more details are now suffacing if the dress was all a LIE.

We earlier reported that the police had told the site on Wednesday that the '12 Years A Slave' star's now famous dress was worth $150,000 and was carrying 6,000 pearls.

The thief who returned the dress told TMZ they'd ripped off two of the pearls to sell it but were told the pearls were fake.

Latest reports from the police are now claiming a rep at Calvin Klein says they never told anyone if the pearls were fake or real.

TMZ reports that it was Lupita's stylist who informed them about the price of the gown.

The Women's Creative Director of Calvin Klein, Francisco Costa, explained to the site, "Did anyone ever say they were real from Calvin Klein? I always assumed everyone knew they were fake, but I guess not."

The source awesomely adds, "Do they really make dresses out of real jewels since Cleopatra died?"

Well, it seems the actress's dress is becoming more famous than her Oscar 2014 win!
