Did Lil Wayne confirm NBA star's death?

"RIP LO Dam ma. My blessings to ur fam and friends," the former Young Money Cash Money rapper tweeted on October 14.

Lil Wayne may have confirmed that Lamar Odom is dead despite reports that the former NBA super star is currently fighting for his life at the Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas.

The rapper took some time off his sex tape scandal to tweet something about Lamar's scary health situation and could have dropped the bomb that Khloe Kardashian's ex husband has already kicked the bucket.

However, Lamar's longtime publicist and friend, Eve Starkisyan has issued a statement asking fans to abstain from false reports about the sportsman's condition as well as give his family and friends some privacy to deal with the difficult situation.

TMZ reports that Lamar remains unconscious at the hospital and his life is dependent on respiratory machines.

Our prayers to the NBA superstar.
