Reports say the police have been on a hunt for Kidd Kidd since February

A G-Unit rapper, Kidd Kidd has been arrested for allegedly assaulting and strangling a woman in a domestic dispute.

The rapper was picked up by the police on Tuesday night (June 30) while preparing to perform at the XXL 2015 Freshman Class concert at the Best Buy Theater -- a show that hypes up and coming rappers.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) has reportedly been hunting Kidd Kidd since February, when he actually committed the crime.

Reports say his boss, 50 Cent and the rest of the G-Unit crew immediately covered for their busted colleague and the show went on smoothly.

In 2011, Kidd Kidd was parked outside a house in New Orleans when someone sprayed his car with bullets, hitting him 6 times . He ovbiously survived it! Now, let's pray he survives jail time.

In May, Kidd Kidd's lover named Mauritareported his violent problems to 50 Cent claiming the rapper beat her up in Las Vegas leaving her with countless bruises. We said she asked the group's boss to help her out in her situation.

Looks like 50 did little or nothing to help poor Maurita... because the police got to him first.
