Are Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez trying to give their dead relationship another chance?

The former couple were spotted hanging out together backstage at the 2015 American Music Awards in Los Angeles on November 22 even though they weren't seated together in the hall during the event.

An eyewitness told Hollywood Life that the singers got cozy backstage and were holed up in Selena's dressing room between performances and the small amount of time they spent in their seats.

Ever since Justin and Selena were caught out on a romantic date together on November 20, they’ve been seemingly inseparable. When it came time for each of their performances at the AMA on Sunday night, we were frantically scanning the audience to catch the others’ reaction – but they were nowhere to be found! That’s because they spent all of their time backstage together, a source tells the site.

"They were definitely together in Selena’s dressing room for most of the night,” the insider said. “They were hardly ever in their seats.”

After the award show, Selena followed Justin to his AMAs after party at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood where she partied along with Kylie Jenner and Tyga.

She left absolutely beaming while staring at her phone. Was it a sweet goodnight text from Justin?
