Jordin Sparks has written a moving message to say her goodbyes to 'American Idol' as the show comes to a close after 15 seasons.

The one-time winner of the music show left fans in tears as she said her farewell to the platform that kicked off her music career in 2007 at the age of 17.

"I had so much fun, well, last night now. I’m forever grateful for the precious memories & friendships I’ve made because of @americanidol," Jordin wrote underneath her Instagram video on April 9.
She went on to say, "Everything that I’ve been able to accomplish because of the fans that voted for me week after week! Thank you will never be enough! #80066 #idolfinale. Ps-This vid is when you’re so happy that it cut off because: emotions."
Sparks has enjoyed a couple of number one hits and has released third studio albums since her win on sixth edition of the American Idol in 2007. Her self-titled debut album was released later in the same year; it was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and has sold over two million copies worldwide.
