Iggy Azalea has announced that she's canceling her Pittsburgh Pride performance after receiving serious backlash from the LGBT community for her past tweets, considered to be homophobic.

The 25-year-old Australian rapper took to Twitter on June 8 to dish out the sad news and send out her respect and love for the LGBT community.

''This has been a difficult decision as I truly support the event and LGBTQIA communities, however I feel my participation at this point would only serve to further distract from the true purpose of the event,'' the newly engaged star shared on Twitter.
