Meet Femi And Yeni Kuti's 93 Year-Old Grandmother

Femi and Yeni Kuti's grandmother turns a year older

Today, Wednesday August 27th marked the 93rd birthday of Femi and Yeni Kuti's British maternal grandmother.

An excited Femi Kuti took to Twitter to announce this tweeting:

"My granny just turned 93 (my mother's mother o) may the creator giver her more strength and life. We love you grandma"

Not much is known about Femi's maternal grandmother, however his paternal grandmother was Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti, a highly influential woman in her time who is best known for her activism and also for being the first Nigerian female to drive a car.
