The 'Nashville' star took to her Twitter on Thursday, May 22 to reveal her decision by herself. Meanwhile sources claim the actress will be seeking help in Utah.
The 26-year-old star has been vocal about suffering from postpartum depression ever since the birth of her daughter, Kaya, whom she welcomed with fiancé Wladimir Klitschko in December 2014.
"Hayden Panettiere is voluntarily seeking professional help at a treatment center as she is currently battling postpartum depression,” her rep told Us Weekly last October. "She asks that the media respect her privacy during this time.”
Meanwhile, during an appearance on Live With Kelly and Michael in September 2015, the actress further opened up about relating to women who suffer from postpartum.
"I can very much relate. It's something a lot of women experience. When [you’re told] about postpartum depression you think it’s ‘I feel towards my child, I want to injure or hurt my child.' I’ve never, ever had those feelings. Some women do. But you don’t realize how broad of a spectrum you can really experience that on. It’s something that needs to be talked about. Women need to know that they’re not alone, and that it does heal," she exlained to the hosts and their audience and viewers.
