Actor welcomes twins with wife, Amal

The couple welcomed their children, Ella and Alexander, today, according to their spokesperson.

American actor, George Clooney, has welcomed a set of twins, Ella and Alexander, with wife, Amal, who is a British-Lebanese human rights lawyer.

The twins, a boy and a girl were safely delivered today according to a statement issued by their rep, Stan Rosenfield.

"This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives.

"Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine. George is sedated and should recover in a few days," Rosenfield disclosed in an email to USA Today.

The news of Amal's pregnancy came on February 9, 2017, during an episode of CBS'"The Talk" show.

It has been a joy to watch the couple blossom in love since their wedding ceremony in September 2014 which was held in Venice.

Some of the guests in attendance include Clooney's "Ocean Eleven" cast mate, Matt Damon, Irish singer and songwriter, Bono, actress, Emily Blunt and many other A-listers.

Before meeting the mother of his children, the actor had severally been married to a number of top entertainment figures such as Talia Balsam, Renee Zellweger and a few others.

His last venture into an unsuccessful relationship was with female wrestler, Stacy Keibler.

Boy! Hasn't he been around?

He got engaged to Amal (Nee Alamuddin) on April 28, 2014.

Since then, we have seen a much more stable Clooney who seemed more dedicated compared to past relationships.
