In an interview with Hip TV, skin care expert Freda Francis spoke about Iyanya and the picture the pop star shared of two of them on Instagram which started the buzz.

"First of all I will say it had no caption, and secondly I like to keep my private life personal. I have known him for how long, it's almost three years" she told Hip TV.

When Freda Francis was asked if she was dating Iyanya since she wanted to keep things private she said this "He can put up anything he wants, I can put up anything I want. But talking about it I will say again I like to keep my personal life private."
Iyanya shared a picture of him with Freda Francis on August 26. On April 27, Pulse published the story of Iyanya and Freda Francis, speculating if the two were dating.

Freda Francis is the CEO OF The Oasis Spa, and she was formerly dating Mavin Records CEO Don Jazzy. Freda Francis and Iyanya took time out from their relationship earlier in the year. From this picture it seems they are back together.
