'Nickelodeon' star arrested 5days to Christmas

The former 'Nickelodeon' star was picked up by the police in Glendale, California on Monday, December 21 for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Drake Bell has been arrested on suspicion of DUI.

The former 'Nickelodeon' star was picked up by the police in Glendale, California on Monday, December 21, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Bell, 29, was reportedly pulled over around 2:20am by the authorities and according to the Glendale Police spokeswoman, Tahnee Lightfoot, the actor was "swerving and speeding" after he abruptly stopped at a red light.

The actor, who has reportedly filed for bankruptcy, was arrested after failing to pass a sobriety test. A police officer reported that he smelled the odor of alcohol coming from the star's car.

According to TMZ, he was driving 55 miles per hour in a 35 mile per hour zone. He was locked up for nearly 10 hours before posting bail at $20,000.
